NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 1 – CFAO Motors Kenya has launched an upgraded 1.5-litre engine Toyota Starlet amidst a continued increase in demand for fuel-efficient vehicles in the country.
The Toyota Starlet 2022 is an upgrade from its predecessor, the 2020 model, and bags a more powerful 1,500 cc engine.
It has enhanced safety features which include six airbags, cruise control for safe and comfortable driving, electronic brake distribution force for enhanced passenger safety, and has a more powerful engine power compared to the 2020 model which has a 1.4-litre engine.
Its interior has additional air cooling systems and a 4.2-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen that has advanced technology features.
The steering wheel control has been made in such a way that allows easy access to the audio and mobile devices and its control systems as well.
The new entrant to the Toyota family which targets the young population has a ground clearance of 150mm and a 9-inch infotainment system that comes with 4 speakers and two tweeters that are both Android and Apple car play enabled.
“The all-new interior and exterior upgrades further reinstates our commitment to distributing vehicles that are only of the highest quality, durability and reliability all while remaining stylish, compact, comfortable, convenient and suitable for everyday use,” said CFAO Motors Kenya Managing Director Arvinder Reel.
The vehicle will be retailing at Sh2.6million and will be available via the CFAO Motors networks of 33 branches and dealerships countrywide.
Customers will enjoy a 5-year or 150,000 kilometers warranty on purchase of the vehicle and can also acquire it through financing from financial institutions that have partnered with CFAO motors.
