Kenya National Highways Authority has announced a temporary closure of Uhuru Highway from Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday.
The closure will take effect from 1pm to 1.30pm to pave way for an autism half marathon.
The race is organised by Technology Service Providers Association of Kenya (TESPOK).
“Motorists are advised to follow proposed traffic management plan and cooperate with the police and traffic marshals on site,” the Authority said in a statement on Thursday. 
The roads to be affected by the closure are Chiromo, Raila Odinga Way, Upperhill Links Road, Elgon Road, Matumbato Road and Masaba Road.
Others are Bunyala Road, Lower Hill Road, Haile Selassie Avenue, Kenyatta Avenue, Koinange Street, University Way, Lusaka Road and Workshop Road.
